Seven Days, Seven Snaps 3

Hi, welcome to Life Captured’s third week of my trial project 365! Three down and one to go to make this a habit. In case you missed the first two parts of Seven Days, Seven Snaps, I’ve linked them right here so you can catch up on the fun. Part 1, and Part 2. Diving into this third week has actually given me some time to reflect on the process. In fact, I have to admit, I’m surprisingly hooked on this 365 project and enjoying it way more than I ever expected!…

taco john's

Sunday, our usual grocery shopping day. Kevin stopped at Taco John’s. I usually order the taco salad. And I remember to ask for the senior discount!

Spent the early evening with my niece and her family.

Meet Daisy, my grand niece.

tree bark

Tree bark. As I was walking past, this tree caught my attention.

colored pencils coloring

Another day with the grand girls. Brynlee and I colored using coloring pencils.

After seeing everyone’s flower pictures, thought I would give it a try 🙂

The shadow on the bottom of flower reminds me of a Dr. Sues clarinet 🤣

English springer spaniel field bread

Meet Jax! He’s my son-in-law’s handsome, field-bred English Springer Spaniel. You might notice he’s wearing a snout guard in this photo. That’s his temporary new accessory after a little mishap where he decided a rock looked like a tasty snack (which unfortunately required surgery!). To keep him safe, he only wears the guard while hanging out and exploring the backyard. Don’t worry, when he’s out hunting with my SIL, he gets to go completely gear-free!

Good start to my day. A bowl of Cocoa Pebbles. What I liked most was the milk turning chocolatey!

thrift find wedding dress

It’s amazing what you can find in a thrift store! While my oldest grand daughter was at band camp, the youngest and I went thrifting. Youngest was not in the best of moods. She kept repeating that I was torturing her! 😎 Our thrifting adventure deserves its own post. Be looking for it!

zucchini

Look at all this zucchini! They are growing like crazy this year. We’ve been keeping a bunch and sharing the rest with neighbors. My daughter makes the best baked zucchini slices topped with olive oil, parmesan, and bacon bits. Absolutely delicious!

cpr manikin

Annual CPR training. Today was our first day of training for school year 2026-2027. The class lasted 4 hours. This was my ‘friend’ for the class!

clouds

The past couple days we’ve had those fluffy, puffy clouds floating in the sky. Today, I remembered to photograph tomorrow’s memory! This image was taken from the house out towards our pasture where the steer roam. When I was a kid, one of the things I enjoyed most was laying down in grass and staring up to see what cloud formations I could see.

I have to admit, I’m surprisingly hooked on this 365 project and enjoying it way more than I ever expected! It has completely streamlined my journaling routine, making it feel effortless. Each daily picture acts as a beautiful visual anchor. It doesn’t just record what I did, but it instantly brings back the vibe, emotions, and atmosphere of the moment. It’s like a mini time capsule that makes looking back so much more meaningful. Have you found that your photos capture those shifts in mood and memory the same way?

Until next week……..

Yesterday is today’s memory.
Be sure to capture your memory today!

All the best,.
