Hi, everyone! Welcome to Life Captured. I’m officially testing the waters with a Project 365 trial! I’ve seen so many people take on this challenge, but I never really thought my daily life was interesting enough to document. Plus, capturing something every single day sounds a lot easier than it actually is.
While I love photography and take plenty of photos, I definitely don’t pull out my camera every day. So, before I dive headfirst into a full year-long commitment, I’m starting small with a short-term trial run to see how it goes. Let’s see if I can make the habit stick. Wish me luck! 📸
Each week will begin with Sunday. That matches my calendar on my phone. My first photograph was taken on Saturday the last day. Saturday, June 27, 2026 will be included with the week June 28 – July 4.
Saturday- June 27, 2026

Mom and Dad went on a weekend trip with friends. Grandma got to spend the weekend with grand girls 🙂
Brie has started to wear mascara, eyeliner, blush and lip gloss. She did her makeup and Brynlee’s.
Sunday- June 28, 2026

Updated picture of the hoarder house.
Those tall plants will bloom with sunflowers. At least they did last year. Regardless, this unkept yard is a better view 🙂
Monday- June 29, 2026

While making a Walmart run, I ran into this lady. I hadn’t seen her since my daughter was in daycare. This was her teacher! She has always reminded of Wanda Sykes.

By no means is this a beautiful garden. However, I can tell you we will get the best beefsteak tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini. Kevin also planted some peppers, okra and cherry tomatoes. Dixie likes the cherry tomatoes. She will try to take a few if we don’t watch her.

Left top: I call these ditch flowers. They line the gravel road to my house. The picture right under is the grader cutting the bushes and trees that hang into the road. Normally, the side of the road is mowed creating a shoulder like for the road. With the mower up like it is, it looks very unsafe to me. An accident waiting to happen!
Right top: This is one of Kevin’s tractors. The cab has AC and that’s a plus this time of year. July 4 and baling hay goes together. The middle image is the view of a part of our farm. I wanted a picture to show how the rows look after cutting. The last image is not our field. It’s one I had seen on my drive to town. Inaddition to Kevin haying our property, he also cut and bale for several other people. The first place he cut was up North, about an hour drive on a tractor!

Oh my lands. This is the best chicken tenders I ever get. They are from our local grocery store deli. They fry them daily. I usually get the three piece dinner. As you can see, I got two of the same side. This will be divided in half for lunch Thursday and Friday!
Friday- July 3, 2026

Our weekly grocery store trip. As always, we try to get into this lady’s checkout lane. As you can see, we are not the only ones to wait! Regardless how long the wait will be.
We’re having Thursday’s planned Friday lunch for dinner tonight instead. I totally forgot Kevin had yesterday off for the 4th of July weekend. And he wanted Mexican!
Saturday- July 4, 2026

My daughter sent this picture of grand daughter to me. It’s my picture for today! Watch out people, new driver on the road 😮
It’s been raining almost all day, so we decided to skip tonight’s plans and just stay in.
Just a reminder that I use auto-post to schedule my content. All photos were taken on the dates listed above; the scheduling delay just gives me time to edit the images and put the post together.
Yesterday is today’s memory.
Be sure to capture your memory today!
All the best,.
Debra Ellen
