LinkyTools Blog Hop #1

Hi, there. Welcome to Life Captured.

If you have been following along for a while, you know that InLinkz has been my trusted, go-to platform for hosting parties. It has served my site so well over the years, but I am always on the lookout for new ways to connect and bring our awesome community together!

Recently, I decided it was time to branch out and give Linky Tools 2.0 a spin. I am so excited to test out their blog hop features and see which platform ultimately wins my heart. I will be sure to keep you all posted on what I find out as I test the waters!

Join the Fun: The First Blog Hop!

To kick off this exciting trial run, I am hosting a Linky Tools Blog Hop right here on the blog!

This is your official invitation to come play along with us. Every week, you can share your favorite post directly from your own website, discover amazing new reads, and connect with fellow creators.

I Want to Hear From You!

Before you add your link below, let’s chat in the comments:

  • Which party platform do you currently use on your own blog?
  • Have you tried InLinkz, Linky Tools, or both?
  • What are your absolute favorite pros and cons for either system?

Drop your thoughts, share your links, and let’s make this week’s hop the best one yet! Happy blogging!

Yesterday is today’s memory.
Be sure to capture your memory today!

All the best,.

  1. I’m interested to see Linky Tools! I have only ever used inLinkz for my own link parties, but I guess I’ve never stopped to think what I’m using when I visit other parties! 🙂 Here goes…

    • The price is what interested me. I use the free version of inLinkz. The monthly subscription is more than a yearly subscription for the Linky Tools. The subscription gets your party in the directory for both platforms.
I will provide more details of likes/dislikes on next weeks Linky Tools Blog Hop.
Looking forward to seeing you again!
      All the best.

  2. I have tried both Linky Tools and InLinkz, although only the free version of Linky Tools. I have a paid InLinkz account now that I’ve had for enough years that I am grandfathered in with the “legacy” version for which I pay something like $3/month so I can have the thumbnail photos in my link parties. Maybe because I’ve been using it so long, I find it easier to set up and manage for the parties I host. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the function that emails me when someone adds a link to my party doesn’t work any more and I don’t know why. This means I have to keep checking my anchor posts or the InLinkz site to make sure I’m not inadvertently ignoring someone who has kindly left a link!
Thanks for joining in on my recent Everyday Images link party – I’m looking forward to getting to know you a little through your beautiful blog. 🙂

    • Hi, Kym. Thank you for your kind words! I went ahead and paid the yearly Linky Tools subscription fee. If inLinkz was $3/month, I most likely would not have even wanted to try the Linky Tools. I’m trying to keep my cost down on the fees I’m spending on my online personal journal.
Thank you for visiting and commenting. I, too, look forward to discovering more about you!
      All the best.

  3. Hey Debbie I just saw this from where you linked this to my party. There’s only a hour left for your party. I’ll catch your next one. I use InLinkz. I tried Linky Tools but I like Inlinkz.
Thanks so much for linking your new party with Sweet Tea & Friends this month dear friend. When does your next one start?

  4. I never commited to hosting a Linky because I used to travel a lot and therefore would not be consistant blogging. I’m older now and blogonce a week but I still don’t think that is often enough for a link up party. I do love to join in a Linky party through. It’s fun to discover new blogs!
