Seven Days, Seven Snaps 10

Welcome to Life Captured. I’m thrilled to report that the daily photo challenge has officially unlocked a new routine for me. Taking a picture a day has transitioned from a task into a habit that I genuinely look forward to. It keeps me mindful and creative, as I’m always looking for that one special moment to capture. It’s incredibly fun to see where the day takes me and what that final picture will turn out to be. Here is a glimpse into my latest seven days and seven snaps!

Oh, my sweetheart would definitely give me an earful if he knew I posted this picture! But then again, the man treats a camera lens like it’s a laser sight, so what else is new?

He really does work himself hard, which explains why he’s currently passed out cold in his beloved recliner. Ah yes, the legendary throne. A chair so ancient, faded, and structurally suspicious that it belongs in a museum, yet he defends it like a family heirloom and aggressively refuses to replace it. Sleep tight, my hardworking king of the recliner!

The transportation department has a dedicated breakroom. We have a TV, microwave, refrigerator, two reclining sofas and puzzles! One table is used just for putting puzzle pieces together.

Tuesday- Sept 1, 2026

No cropping of the two images in the collage. I’m trying out the new 75mm lens I ordered. So far I’ve been impressed with the Shiftcam products.

Wednesday- Sept 2, 2026

Kevin planted watermelon in our garden. They look beautiful. Will sure grab a shot of one for next weeks 7days, 7snaps. What drew my attention was the price at the grocery store. We wouldn’t make a fortune, but homegrown watermelon is much sweeter!

Thursday- Sept 3, 2026

This picture popped up on my Google memories. This really brings back the day I took it. On our pond one early evening while our daughter and her family spent the day with me and Kevin. Peaceful. Calming.

My hometown has a lovely downtown area. Every time I visit Lawrence, I drive or walk the Main Street. So many beautiful things to see.

Saturday- Sept 5, 2026

Took a walk and found lights featured in a storefront window. Using the 75mm lens attachment, I snapped this shot.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by Life Captured and look through my latest week of picture journaling! Waking up every day to find that one perfect moment has become such a rewarding routine, and now that it is officially a habit, sharing it with you makes it even better. I can’t wait to see what unexpected stories the next seven days will bring. I’m so glad to have you along for this creative journey, and I look forward to seeing you right back here next week for the next round of snaps!

Yesterday is today’s memory.
Be sure to capture your memory today!

All the best,.
