I never thought I would like quiche pie. That is, until I ate my husband’s!
My husband will follow a recipes directions with tweaks. Each time different until he finds a combination that fits his taste buds. The above is his recipe handwritten. Thought this would be a fun memory to keep! Once a month me and a group of wise women meet to play games, eat and visit. Taking turns on what is brought for the gathering.
This one particular month I volunteered my husband’s quiche pie. When I asked him to make this for me, I was rather surprised. He handed me the recipe and told me to bake it. Note to self: maybe check with the chef before volunteering his services! 🙂
The quiche didn’t stand a chance! The ladies and I made quick work of that pie. Consider it officially ‘approved’ by the brunch committee. The quiche turned out beautifully. My only disappointment is that I neglected to take a picture of it before we sat down to eat; the visual was just as delightful as the flavor.
Yesterday is today’s memory.

I really enjoy when my husband prepares meals. Usually he does not follow recipes. I was caught off guard that he wrote this down. I wanted to get a picture of his handwriting. May sound odd but a co-worker of mine cherishes her grandmother’s handwritten recipes.
