Yes, I have definitely felt that sandpaper tongue! My grandpa used to raise beef cattle, and we would get to help with the chores on the weekends. It didn’t occur to me for the longest time that those cute little calves would one day be on my dinner plate!

When the kids were younger, we named our livestock; cattle and pigs- ribeye, hamburger, pork chop, bacon, etc! 😵💫
That’s exactly what it feels like. I was raised on a dairy farm and there were lot of cows with sandpaper kisses. You made me smile.

Cows are my favorite!!! Yes, I definitely have gotten sandpaper kisses. I grew up on a small farm.
