About this image: Captured this shortly after sunset. Exposure and moon shots definitely take some practice. One cool thing I noticed: the moon isn’t purely white. When it’s low on the horizon, its light travels through a much thicker layer of Earth’s atmosphere. This scatters the blue and violet light (Rayleigh scattering) and leaves behind a warm yellow-orange glow, just as NASA Science explains. Planning my next session for later in the night. Most likely next weekend, since my beauty sleep comes first!

Developing the Party Guidelines
- Link Up Your Post: Share a link to a specific blog post that showcases your original photography.
- Keep It Mostly Wordless: While the theme focuses primarily on visual storytelling, brief captions or some text welcome.
- Ensure Family-Friendly Content: All photos and accompanying text must be appropriate for audiences of all ages.
- Engage with the Community: Visit and comment on at least two other participants’ link-up posts to support fellow photographers.
- By posting your link, your image/s may be featured at Life Captured. Proper credit will be given.
- Enjoy the Experience: Have fun connecting with others and exploring creative shots.
