Every Day Is… (Loading)

A living post for an evolving life.

Hi, welcome to Life Captured. Yesterday, I had one of those rare, quiet moments where I realized just how much beauty is tucked into the corners of a normal day. It hit me: “Every day is…” something. Sometimes it’s breathtaking, sometimes it’s just messy and real, but it is always worth noticing.

I immediately wanted to turn that spark into a series, but let’s be honest; my attention span isn’t built for a strict daily challenge! Instead of forcing a post every 24 hours, I’m making this a “living” post. Think of it as a recurring hot chocolate date (‘cuz I don’t like coffee 🙂 ) where I’ll randomly drop back in to update this space whenever inspiration strikes.

I want to capture the highlights of what “Every Day Is” without the pressure of a calendar, documenting the extraordinary in the ordinary as it happens.

Every Day Is… [Currently Loading]

The Morning View (The “Big” Beauty): My morning started with the quiet ritual of pre-tripping the bus. As I walked my rounds, I was struck by the view in the featured image; one of those grand, sweeping scenes that makes you stop and breathe for a second. It was the perfect “Every Day Is Beautiful” moment.

The Wildflowers (The “Small” Beauty): But then, the day evolved into something even better. During my morning route, I pulled up to a stop and saw a little boy standing down in a ditch. My “driver brain” immediately went on alert, wondering if something was wrong. But when we made eye contact and I signaled for him and his sister to cross, he didn’t just board the bus; he paused at the top of the stairs and handed me a tiny, crumpled bundle of wildflowers he’d been gathering in that ditch.

The Contrast: It turns out, beauty isn’t just in the big, cinematic sunrises during a pre-trip; it’s also in the dirt, the ditches, and the unexpected kindness of a child.

This post is a living document, a work in progress for a life that is constantly changing. I’ll be back to update this whenever the next moment “loads,” but for now…

What is “Every Day” for you right now? Is it a big view or a small gesture?

    • Welcome to Life Captured! I’ve always been a positive person. But still I had those days, opposite- the pessimism. It’s amazing how my thought process has changed after meeting my lady friends. These friends were discovered at a church I began visiting. Through them, I learned to say a prayer (friends prayed for me too) that changed my outlook in a different way. I know it may sound odd, different, and or, like what do you mean thing.Honestly though, I’m seeing more beautiful stuff every day!

    • Prior to being a student deliver specialist (school bus driver 🙂 ), I was driving to work. Never really paid attention to the landscape or sunrise. Too busy thinking about what I needed to do once I got to work! That’s completely different now. I’m driving in the sunrise. I’m looking through my windshield (and that is a huge window). I’m thankful I found something I can see myself doing even after fully retiring from the working realm.
