Back when my son wrestled (2000’s) there was not enough girls to have a league of their own. Now there are many girls wrestling. Yesterday, Brie participated in kids club regionals. She placed 2nd. Brie is now state bound!
Typically a wrestling kids club begins at age 5. Some can start as early as 4. Children wrestling goes thru 8th grade, 14 years old. Once a wrestler reaches high school age (9th grade), their training will continue with the scholastic program.
