Finding Joy in the Checkout Lane

Sunday Snapshot

Hi. Welcome back to Life Captured! Today’s Sunday Snapshot is dedicated to the wonderful Walmart cashier who brightens up my grocery shopping every week. She has such a positive energy that I’ll happily wait in her line, no matter how long it is, just to say hello.

Yesterday is today’s memory.
Be sure to capture your memory today!

All the best,.

  1. Debra Ellen, I’m so glad I linked up to Sweet Tea & Friends when I did today because my spot in the linkup has introduced me to you and your blog. I love your snapshot today … it reminded me of several employees who, over the years, brightened my day at Wal-Mart every time I saw them there. Back before self-checkout, I would wait in line to see one particular checker, and I wasn’t the only shopper who did this either! We really can make a difference wherever we are, can’t we?

    • Hello, Ms. Flowers! I am so happy you reached out to me. I browsed your site. Very nice, easy to navigate! Your page, Help for Parent Loss- really touched home for me. My parents are still with me, just getting older. As an only child, I tease my parents about going out to eat and we each can order from the senior citizen menu! The day when one does pass, I will be heartbroken. I’m already tearing up while writing this. Your page is bookmarked.
The Good Lord does work in mysterious ways.
Thank you for visiting. Come back anytime.
      All the best.

    • When I stepped into her lane, it was such a delightful sight to see! It already had me in an even better mood. Simple is sometimes more 😉
      Thanks for the visit.
      Have a fun week.
      All the best.
