Welcome back to Life Captured! Today’s My Sunday Snapshot is a sweet moment, a little kiss for a horse, that takes me right down memory lane. This portrait is from a family session back when my calendar was packed with professional shoots. Looking at it today, it reminds me exactly why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

Such.a sweet photo!
What is your professional use camera? I have a second generation Nikon DSLR but I don;t use it as often as I used to these days as a cell phone camera is always available and it uploads photos from my phone automatically.
I like Nikon too. My first was a Minolta film camera. Then when digital DSLRs came available, I decided on the Nikon. The choice upgraded each time I bought a new one. Over my 20+ years I’ve had 6 cameras. When I did family or individual shoots, I carried two camera’s. A backup for everything, including lens, flashes and reflectors and many other items. While I was doing weddings, I carried with me three cameras, and backups- lens, flashes, reflectors, light stands. My biggest fear was equipment malfunction.
Thanks for the visit.
All the best.
Oh, this is just the sweetest photo ever! How long did it take for you to get it? Who was most afraid? I just love this. Thanks so much for sharing it!

Actually, not long. I asked her to kiss the horse while I was looking thru the view finder. As she leaned in, I snapped the shutter, not once but twice! Neither was afraid. The girl was happy to give a kiss. And the horse most definitely knew the family. My favorite lens during a family portrait session is the 70-200 mm with f-stop 2.8. I wasn’t too close to interfere.
Thanks for the visit.
All the best.
